About the artist: After gaining a BA (Honours) degree in graphic design, Martin Williams worked in the creative departments of several major advertising agencies in London. Since painting his first equestrian subject ‘by pure chance’, his fine art career developed rapidly. His work is now in the collections of many leading owners, trainers and jockeys around the world, and he has been paid the ultimate compliment of having his work purchased by fellow artists and sculptors. Martin’s increasing reputation is based on an impressive use of colour and the ability to capture light, mood and atmosphere in a range of media.
