All Stephen Huneck woodcut prints were made using Stephen’s original hand-carved woodblocks and the printing press here on Dog Mountain. Each was printed during the artist’s lifetime, under his supervision. Stephen loved woodcut prints because they retain the unique imprint of the texture and grain of the wood. He believed this brought a special energy to the art. All Stephen Huneck woodcuts are limited-quantity originals and a piece of American folk art history.
