Platinum 4.1mm rose-cut diamond Olive Leaf ring (LON275)

This is a unique hand made ring. The ring pictured here is the actual ring you will receive. We can re-size the ring to fit. Rose-cut, white diamond with a platinum, Olive leaf engraved milled edge band. The classic symbol of peace and friendship the Olive leaf represents reconciliation, healing and a strong bond. Rose-cut diamonds are an historical cut dating back to the 1400s, they have a different shape to the more usual modern cut diamond, flat on the bottom with a faceted dome on the top resembles a rosebud. The type of setting is 'cut-down' which a very old way to set a diamond; the small claws are cut away from the setting instead of being added to the setting, this makes a very strong and hard wearing mount and adds to its vintage appearance.
