This is a unique one off item, the ring pictured here is the actual ring you will receive. White Rose-Cut Diamond, 18ct yellow gold band with hand carved Laurel leaf detail. (ring is shown in UK size K) This ring has a beautiful Rose-cut white diamond. Rose-cut is an historical way to cut diamonds dating back to the 1400s, they are a different shape to the more usual modern cut- flat on the bottom with a faceted dome resembling an opening rosebud. In ancient times the evergreen laurel was considered a sacred plant. In the classical world it was a symbol of strength, glory and prosperity more generally it represents poetry, peace and spiritual wisdom. All of our engraving is done entirely by hand using traditional methods. This ring is entirely handmade by our skilled mounter here in London which means that every ring is unique.
